GENERAL INFO ABOUT IntScCollMathChild2017

The purpose of the 6th Scientific Colloquium MATHEMATICS AND CHILDREN is a scientific discussion about the position and role of a mathematics teacher in accordance with higher accessibility and implementation of new technologies in education within the boundaries of the academic community, the education system and the broader social environment, and with regard to more efficient preparation of children for their future accomplishments.

The scientific colloquium encompasses (but is not limited to) the following topics:

  • scientific research,
  • teaching experience,
  • mathematical education of teacher studies students,
  • mathematics teachers as popularizers of science,
  • mathematics teachers as initiators of progress and development within their communities,
  • application of ICT in education.

Abstracts and full papers for the IntScCollMathChild2017 should be written in English.

Radionica Aritmetikom do dizajna, 20. travnja 2016.  Osijek

Izv. prof. dr. sc. Ružica Kolar-Šuper, studentice Tena Horvatić i  Kristina Gradištanac

 

Na radionici će biti razmatrana svojstva jedne relacije na skupu cijelih brojeva. Upoznavanje svojstava ove relacije i pogodna geometrijska prezentacija pružit će sudionicima radionice mogućnost doživljaja primjene i ljepote matematike. Na radionici će učenicima biti pružena mogućnost razumijevanja osnovnih svojstava relacije kongruencije te primjene na kreiranje različitih vrsta uzoraka. Bit će pokazano kako modularna aritmetika može biti iskorištena za kreiranje različitih zanimljivih uzoraka. Pridruživanjem različitih osnovnih figura određenim elementima bit će kreirani temeljni uzorci. Sudionici će samostalno, kombiniranjem dobivenih osnovnih uzoraka, korištenjem osne simetrije, translacije i rotacije kreirati potpuno nove i neobične uzorke. Primjena ovoga područja matematike na kreiranje različitih zanimljivih figura obogatit će sudionike novim pogledom na područje matematike koje do sada nisu promatrali na ovaj način.
